Meet the Crew
Meet Brad
Brad Humes, co-owner and contractor, brings nearly 20 years of experience to every project. From constructing bridges for the U.S. Forest Service to building custom log homes across the country, Brad’s work is known for its precision and durability. Born and raised in Sylva, Brad now lives in Whittier and takes pride in serving the region he’s always called home.
Brad loves to go camping deep out in the woods, and take his Labrador Retriever to play in the river when he gets the chance. When friends and family are visiting, you can just about guarantee that he will either make a bonfire for everyone to roast marshmallows over, or put on some Mario Kart so he can show off his racing skills.
He loves people, loves animals, and loves building and working with his hands.
Meet Dallas
Dallas Crowe, co-owner and skilled craftsman, has been in the construction industry for 20 years. A lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, Dallas brings a deep understanding of the land and community to every job.
He knew from a young age that he wanted to be a carpenter, and has learned many skills along the way from running heavy machinery, to grading, to putting the last speck of paint on a finished house.
“I’ve been so fortunate to work with many true craftsmen throughout the years, including Brad, which has brought me where I am today.”
In his free time, he loves to spend quality time with his family- going camping, working with their horses, or anything else outside to enjoy the day and their time together.
